Weekly Swim Format:
One hour (or more) swim includes 300-400 meter marked course, patrolled by our experienced safety crew in kayaks or on paddleboards, located in a protected cove approximately 1000 meters south of the Wilson Bridge at National Harbor. After the swim, get together with friends for brunch or happy hour at a local National Harbor restaurant/bar. These swims are for practice and training and are NOT clinics or learn to swim classes. You should be comfortable swimming at least 500 meters nonstop in the pool.

Sunset Swims begin at 6:30pm - 7:45pm (sunlight dependent). Sunday Sunrise Swims begin at 8:30AM. to 9:45AM. Arrive early to check in and be numbered. All swims are at least one hour, weather permitting. Optional discount parking options may be available. for season members. Purchased passes will not be refunded or transferred.
Online swim price range $25 - $30. Registration closes at 3pm day of Wednesday Sunset Swim, and closes 8pm on Saturdays prior to the Sunday Sunrise Swims. On site waterside registration is available for $10 additional. Prices may change with membership options, as they are created.
Look for us on the commercial pier (behind the water taxis) in front of the Pier House Restaurant. Check-in begins 30 minutes before the swim. Check the WaveOne website prior to the swim to confirm start time and potential weather situations. See our weather disclaimer below.

PARKING: Discounted parking passes may be available for your swims. Passes may be offered and purchased on a first come basis at each swim at check in. Passes are valid through out the summer swim season and for use in any available spot at National Harbor.

No in-water or on-dock coaching except by WaveOne coaches, unless approved in writing prior to the swim. No friends and family are allowed on the dock. There is ample viewing from the pier. Only authorized personnel are allowed on the dock.
Open Water Swimming Disclosure: Open water swimming involves variable conditions. Every day is different. Every swim is different. Please see our website for schedule and weather updates particularly prior to event date. Cancellations due to weather shall be determined in the best interest of the swimmers and no refunds will be given for weather cancellations. All swimmers swim at their own risk. Risks may include potential injury and death. Be safe. WaveOne Open Water reserves the right to exclude any swimmer from entering the swim or dock area for any reason. Prices and event times subject to change without notice. No refunds or transfers. Park, parking, or entrance fees are not included in the swim/clinic or event fee, unless indicated in the checkout item.
